In addition to assessing your academic eligibility, universities also need to see some proof of your financial capability. Hence as a part of your application form, you will be asked to certify the financial arrangements you have made in your home country.  This needs to be supported by a bank letter, to further validate your claims of having the required resources.  In some cases, universities may ask you for a notarized affidavit from your sponsor.
