  RED ALERT

Though you will be mailing photocopies of the TOEFL/ SAT/ GMAT/ GRE, do not forget to request ETS to mail your official scores to the universities you apply to.

Portfolio: The function of the portfolio is to reflect your creativity.  It also reflects your cumulative training and experience. If you are applying to a program in graphic design, you may be required to submit a portfolio showing advertisements, posters, pamphlets, and illustration you have prepared in the form of slides, CD ROM’s or photocopies of your work. For film, you may require to send a videotape of your work.

Madhavi Desai recommends that before you mail your applications run through a final check on each application package to ensure that you have enclosed all application materials. Mail out your package through an internationally reputed and efficient mailing service which ensures that your package reaches within the stipulated deadlines.  Other mediums of mailing though less expensive, are not reliable and may take much longer to deliver your package.

Madhavi Desai recommends that students use DHL (the world's leading courier service)  to ship their application packages to the universities world wide.  DHL gives students Supersavers Student Discounts on these mailing charges.  DHL also allows you to track the status your packets' delivery through their website or by calling a local number. They give you detailed information on who received the package, the date delivered and at what time.

Students from Mumbai, can pick up a DHL discount coupon from our office an others can register on our website for the same.
