After you have decided the Final Universities you want to apply to, you must immediately request for your scores to be sent.
Red Alert - Your file is incomplete till the college receives your official score report.  An admissions decision will not be made until that time.  ETS takes approximately 5 weeks after your score request date to send out your score report.

Can't I just send a photocopy of my score sheet to my final Universities instead of spending so much on ASR’s?
NO!  These are critical to admissions and with sophisticated copying machines, a student may doctor the score to look better!  Hence your scores must be sent through the official testing services only.

Where do I get the codes for the Universities I am mentioning as my free scores?
You can get the codes from the respective test bulletins or test websites.

In the SAT registration form, there is place to mention ASRs too, can I mention them while registering for the SAT examination?
Yes you can!  It is advisable to request additional scores only once you have decided on your final Universities. You might want to receive your official score before you request these reports.
