fill these in?
Yes, you
must. Filling in this

of your achievements or talents.

How do I fill in the table provided for the extra-curricular
certificates?
In some
application forms you may have space to fill in any 6 activities
that you particularly enjoy. In
this case, start with the activity that is the most important to you
and which is most meaningful to you.
You may be needed to calculate the number of hours per week
that you have participated in a particular activity.
This is a very simple procedure that we will explain to you
with the help of an example.
If you have
participated in athletic meets, you will have trained for perhaps 3
months prior to the meet. 3
months is equivalent to 12 weeks.
In each week you may have practiced for 3 days.
On any given day you may have trained for 3 hours.
Hence you have practiced for 3 hours on 3 days in a week. This is equivalent to 9 hours a week. Hence you simply fill in 9 hours per week for 12 weeks per
year.

My
extra-curricular certificates are in a language other than
English. Do I need to
get them translated? From whom?
Yes.
You must get these translated as some the officials on the
admissions committee may not understand the language your
certificates are in. You
can ask your school to give you a letter typed on the institutes
letterhead stating that you have participated in these activities.
