• Madhavi Desai Recommends that if you have participated in a number of extracurricular activities than it is better to send it in a resume version.  This resume of extracurricular activities should include:

• The year/s the activity took place,

• Information on the activity and 

• The award won.  

• If you have certificates in a language other than English, please make sure that you translate the same on the institution letterhead and send along in the extracurricular package.
  

• Mention all extracurricular activities taken part in throughout your school/college years.
  

• In case you have not received a participation certificate for any of the activities, then it is possible to mention it and give details on what exactly it was that you did.  This could be the case of participating in a community service.
